This year Anzac Day falls on the second Thursday of the school holidays. As always, this is a significant day for our broader community and also a big day for Kingscliff High School. Once again, the Kingscliff RSL have afforded our school the opportunity of playing a leading role in the annual Dawn Service at the cenotaph on Marine Parade, Kingscliff. Our School Captain leadership group will feature prominently in the formal service, with Georgie Thompson delivering the keynote speech. Later, Georgie has again been invited to speak at the Pottsville morning service, preceded by our school’s participation in the annual Pottsville street march. Our commitments of the day will conclude with the Marine Parade street march, wrapping up with the formal wreath laying service at the cenotaph.
