November 2019

We have our 'Ignite' Production coming up, two nights to showcase our talented Creative and Performing Arts students on Tuesday the 10th and Wednesday the 11th of December. We are looking to raise money for our Performance Programs which provide students with extra-curricular opportunities to engage in and enrich their artistic practices. We were wondering if there were any businesses that would be willing to donate prizes for our raffle at Kingscliff High School. No prize is too small and we greatly appreciate any support. In return we can offer advertising through our programs and vision reel each evening. We are also donating 50% of the raffle proceeds to a local charity organisation. Our evening starts from 6pm with a fundraising BBQ available and the show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students / concession. Thank you in advance for your support. NSW Police Legacy has produced the 2019 Child Safety Handbook: a resource for parents, carers and teachers. The handbook’s emphasis is on prevention and can be accessed at this link: NSW Police Legacy Child Safety Handbook. Schools may wish to make parents/carers aware of the Handbook, though their usual communication channels. The hyperlink above is available for use by school staff and parents. For further information: contact Gillian Newall, Student Health Coordinator, Health and Wellbeing at gillian.newall@det.nsw.edu.au or on telephone number 02 7814 2650.
