This week is the beginning of the subject selection process for Stage 6. The selection process consists of the following: Tuesday 28 Jul - Mr Smith will visit History classes to discuss HSC subject rules and hand out Subject Information booklets. Friday 31 Jul - Subject Selection Expo - Students spend the day being given information regarding the various Stage 6 subjects Tuesday 11 Aug - Subject Selection Day - Students are interviewed and enter their round one selections. Latest COVID-19 case locations in NSW NSW Health has a website to inform you of the actions you should take if you have been in a location where there have been confirmed cases of COVID-19 within NSW. Monitor the site and follow the relevant health advice if you have been at any of the locations at the specified dates and times. Students and staff who have travelled through or visited Victoria All students and staff who have visited Victoria must have a permit to enter NSW and are required to self-isolate for 14 days. Except for students and staff who reside in a border town, all students and staff who have visited Victoria in the 14 days before the commencement of school should not attend school until they complete the 14 days self-isolation period since they left Victoria. Students have experienced drastic changes this year to their learning. As a school, we used this as an opportunity to come together and think about the endless possibilities there are to engage differently with education. We asked students “what they have learnt about learning” and “how we can live and learn in a Post-COVID-19 world”. Each year NSW Health works in partnership with schools to offer the vaccines recommended by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) for adolescents as part of the school vaccination program.   In 2020 the following vaccines will be offered to All year 10 students -       Meningococcal ACWY vaccine as a single dose   Parent Information Kits that include an Information sheet, consent form and privacy statement these were sent home last Monday 29th June.  If you did not receive a pack, spares will be available by contacting the office from Tuesday 21st July.
