Exploring new thoughts, beliefs and ideas. And breaking what does not serve anymore. Students involved in the Whole Youth Program took on the challenge of breaking pine boards inscribed with words describing thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are not working for them anymore. Through this process the students were able to recognise their ability to take charge and focus on what they want from life in a positive and healthy perspective. The Whole Youth Program has proven to be powerful and effective. It develops the courage to allow boys to look at all aspects of themselves. Participants explore what they like about themselves and what they want to change and develop. The program offers new skills and encouragement to make wholesome decisions in their lives and provides the tools for teenagers to cope with changes and offers skills to prevent violence and

For the first time in many years, due to increased manufacturer prices, the P&C have agreed to implement a price increase of $5 on every item with the exception of the unisex shorts & skorts. The price increase does not apply to second hand items we sell. If you do have some second hand clothes we would love you to donate them to the school, as all the profit we make goes back to supporting our school and our children. You can find the Uniform Shop price list below and we now have the ability for parents to pay over the phone, to save parents coming into the school unnecessarily. Once the payment has been confirmed the student can pick up their uniform. Today our school experienced an incident which necessitated a brief “lockdown”. The incident lasted approximately 40 minutes and I am very thankful to be able to report that no member of our school community was in any danger at any time.   Briefly, a member of the public presented at our student services counter, collapsed and was offered first aid. The member of the public then began to wander around the front garden and lawn area of our school in a disoriented and unresponsive state. As a precautionary measure in order to ensure everyone’s safety, I asked staff and students to observe “lockdown” procedures, in which students and teachers lock themselves into whatever room they are in at the time, close windows and blinds, and remain quiet until the “all clear” is sounded. This is a procedure that all students and staff
