A copy of this letter (attached) has been emailed to all families today relating to the Advisory Support Team review to be held at the school and 18 and 19 May 2021. An Advisory Support Team focusing on the design, delivery and implementation of Aboriginal Education and culturally safe practices will be conducted at the school on 18 and 19 May 2021.  The team will be vising our school and parents and carers will be asked to meet with the team to talk about this topic in a relaxed atmosphere. Your ideas will be most welcome. A group of parents and carers, students and teachers will selected to meet with a team member.  If you are not selected but would like the opportunity to speak with the team, please contact the school.  Parents have the right to exclude their children from this

Changing COVID-19 safety restrictions have impacted on our scheduling of Parent Teacher Evenings this year, and I am grateful for the patience of our families in this matter. Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has rolled out the Transport Connect Bus (TCB) Program to Tweed Heads and will soon be going live, delivering state of the art technology to rural and regional NSW to help customers plan their journey and receive real-time trip updates for buses. Students and parents now have the ability to plan their journey to and from school, and to track the location of the bus and estimated arrival times. Services this year will be determined by restrictions placed on us by NSW State Government. Kingscliff RSL has attempted to meet all conditions of those restrictions and have asked that the general public assist them to make this a safe and sacred day. Four Kingscliff High School U16 boys have been invited to carry the WWII Under 16s Association banner in recognition of young boys who joined up and fought for Australia during World War II whilst still less than 16 years of age. “Have you ever wanted to change the past? Charlie Pilgrim has. And with her time machine – The Mobius – ready for a test run she’s hoping to get the chance.” Kingscliff High School Drama Ensemble is excited to present to our school community Charlie Pilgrim – Or The Beginners Guide To Time Travel. Students have dedicated countless hours of rehearsal both inside and outside of school in preparation for our performances this week. We are very excited to be performing school matinee performances to students from Kingscliff High School, Banora High school, Duranbah Primary School and Kingscliff Primary school this week. Our evening performances are 6pm on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd of April this week only. Tickets are limited due to Covid regulations so make sure you book a ticket through the front office to see this amazing production!
