Our school upgrade project has taken an important step forward with the lodgement of the development application for the project. Due to the level of investment involved, the project is considered a State Significant Development (SSD) which means that the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment will assess the SSD application (SSDA) and provide the conditions of consent for the project. For more information refer to the attached project update from School Infrastructure. While the SSDA is being assessed, work is continuing to prepare for the construction of our new library. A Review of Environmental Factors (REF) is being conducted to determine any potential environmental impacts associated with the work. Once the REF is complete, under planning legislation, construction of the library can commence while the SSDA for the remainder of the upgrade is being assessed by DPIE.
