Dear Year 12 and Families, I would like to wish students all the very best in completing your remaining Trial HSC Exams starting tomorrow. Please remember that, while these exams are not assessable, they are an opportunity to both benefit from formal exam experience and also to gain essential feedback from teachers in preparation for your final exams next term. As such, these exams will very much be an exercise in trust, building on the working partnership students have with their teachers. Teachers will, in the spirit of this trusting partnership, not be “supervising” student completion of exams via computer cameras. I hope to see Year 12 back at school soon. Regards Michael Hensley Principal | Kingscliff High School

No doubt everyone has heard that the current lockdown including regional NSW has been extended until 10th September, which will keep our school, along with every other school in the state, under current Level 4 restrictions until the end of Week 9 of this Term. Dear parents/carers, Unfortunately, the state-wide stay-at-home restrictions for NSW have been extended for another week. This means that Level 4 restrictions and learning from home will continue for all Kingscliff High School students from Monday 23rd August 2021 to Friday 27th August 2021. Our school will continue to be open with minimal supervision to support those students who cannot be educated from home, for example if their parent or carer is an essential worker. Students for whom it is essential to attend will be undertaking online learning and must wear face masks whilst indoors. The canteen will continue to be closed. I thank families who have been able to keep their children at home this week to minimise movement in the community and help stop the spread of COVID-19. By now all students should be engaging with their learning via Google Classroom. Please remember
