The Next Four Years – Seeking Parent & Carer Input

Hi Parents/Carers

Teachers and students have been working together to look at our school’s data from the last few years (HSC & NAPLAN results, student and staff surveys etc) in order to develop a shared understanding of the areas we need to address if we are to improve student learning outcomes.  We have also been working with the research on teaching and learning from groups such as the Department’s Centre for Educational Statistics & Data and 4C Transformative Learning.

We have been doing this in order to prepare the Strategic Improvement Plan 2021 – 2024 for our school.  The Plan will be organised around three Strategic Directions, each of which will contain short term and long term improvement measures we would like to work towards, along with the specific initiatives which will take us towards them.  Our thinking at this stage is that the three Strategic Directions will be based around:

  • High Expectations
  • Engagement and Wellbeing
  • Collaboration

We are keen to seek out views on our work to date from our parent and carer community. The link below will take you to an interactive Google document which will share with you our work to date, while also providing you with the opportunity to share with us any thoughts or suggestions you might have:

I hope you will be able to find some time to look through this collaborative document and am looking forward to incorporating broader school community views in our planning for the next four years.

Kind regards
